Meet Angel, a sweet Border Collie who by no fault of her own has become homeless. Like so many she tried to fend for herself but starvation compelled her to seek out humans for help. She was found curled up in a ball shivering on a porch. The person called the Geauga County dog pound thinking it might be a vicious dog. The deputy dog warden took the call and came out to remove the animal from the porch. Upon seeing that it was a cold starving Border Collie who gently gazed up pleading for help, the deputy warden picked her up in their arms and carried her to their vehicle. Through this act of human kindness, Angel was given a second chance. She has a ways to go in rehab. She needs to be spayed and brought up on weight and have a good going over to see that she is healthy and fit. But most of all she needs a commitment from a person that will never let her down...never break the trust....and love and care for her till her days are done. Angel is a gentle adult female purebred Border Collie. And with saying that comes all the special responsibilities of this most highly intelligent breed.
